Visconti Ragtime Ballpoint Pens In 1988, Visconti was founded in Florence, Italy with the intention of introducing exquisite, hand-crafted writing instruments made in the tradition of “old world” artisans. Just as Ragtime music set the stage, in the beginning of the 20th century, for Jazz and its off-shoots, so did Visconti’s earlier Ragtime collection (which was hugely successful over a 7 year period) set the tone for Visconti’s many popular collections that would follow. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Visconti has now updated the original Ragtime styling in an elegant, hand-crafted limited edition. Two solid 14 kt gold rings wrap around the cap which is carved from a block of fascinating acryloid. This luxurious collection is available in a capped rollerball, and twist action ball pen which also accepts Visconti’s smooth gel refills. Only 1988 of each instrument is available worldwide.
